Welcome to my “T1D Facebook Groups” page!!
I’ll keep this short and sweet… because the list certainly isn’t! (Notice the awesome “search” function at the top of the list. It will help you find exactly what you’re looking for.)
I have compiled a list of over 200 T1 related Facebook groups for you to check out. Some are new, some have been around for years. Some are large (over 10,000 members!!) and some are small (only a few people so far).
The descriptions are taken right out of each group’s description. So if it says “I”, it means the person who wrote the group description. If it’s in all CAPS, it’s because that’s how it’s written in the group. Basically… I didn’t write these descriptions.

These groups aren’t going to be for everyone, but every group is for someone!

We know there are other FB groups that occasionally meet and get together, but T1DN is different. We started as a Network first, with community meetings, events, hangouts, etc., and recently decided to create FB group pages for each state just in case our members also wanted a comfortable forum to discuss things in between our scheduled events. (Give us time to grow...these FB groups are very new for T1DN, so please join even if membership look low...we'll get there!) First and foremost, the goal here at T1DN is NETWORKING! We don't often use the term "support group" because it sometimes makes people uneasy. However, you WILL find support at T1DN, and much more!
